Hello!
I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, nevertheless, I can't find straight forward instructions to do so.
As an example, I have the Goosky RS4 helicopter loaded. Under the model notes, it states that different canopy options are available.
I can see the different .png files for the 3 different canopies, but I'm not sure what I have to modify for the Simulator to load them.
Any help is highly appreciated.
How do I change a model's appearance

Re: How do I change a model's appearance
Thank you Michael. I'm not quite sure why I hadn't tinkered with those options and thought I had to modify the underlying .xml files.
Thanks for not giving me a hard time for it! lol.
Cheers!

Sounds like you’re looking for where the sim maps those canopy PNGs to the actual model settings. Check the model notes/metadata for the canopy selector and see whether it expects a specific file name, folder path, or configuration tag. If you’re still unsure, try swapping one texture at a time and verify the simulator reloads the model. (Also, if you enjoy tweaking game visuals, Snow Rider 3D can be a fun rabbit hole.)
