The application would crash at startup (after showing the news) every time.

I tried logging in another user, and it was ok.

I figured for some reason the Heli-X folder in the library folder got corrupted.

I trashed it, reset my settings and all is good!

I have the same problem, after i chose the OpenGl buttons "on". Where did you found exactly the library folder?
