Hi,

I have installed Heli-X 3.0 on OSX (MacBook Pro). I have a mile high wings usb dongle connected to my Esky 0406A transmitter. I have the transmitter setup for no pitch mixing (90 degree swash plate) and mode 2. I cannot seem to setup the controller to work properly. The controls are all mixed up. On the first screen in calibration that shows all of the axis and bars, several of the bars jump around without moving any of the sticks. Also when I move a single stick (left stick up) I get several bars moving at the same time. I know the dongle works because I use it on windows with Clearview and it works fine. The end result leaves the right stick with no input received when the stick is in the lower left quadrant. Also, when I move the left stick up (increased pitch/throttle) the roll axis is affected as well. Is there a know set of configurations for my setup?

Is anyone using (or has experience with) an Esky 0406a with Heli-X. I don't mind looking into a different cable if someone can point me in the right direction.

You should switch off the heli program at the controller. Use a program for a usual plane.

Thanks Michael - I figured out what needed to be done and now it seems to be working well. Here is what I did (in case anyone else runs into this):

1. Set the dip switches in the back of the transmitter to the following settings (there are 2 red dip switches); 1 - OFF, 2 - ON
2. Calibrate the MileHighWings (MHW) Controller using a PC and the MHW eFlightWorks calibration software. The result is that the USB dongle gets programmed with the correct settings (ensure no servo mixing is occurring).
3. Plugin MHW USB dongle into the Mac and turn on transmitter.
4. Start up Heli-X and perform Controller setup.

The key was to calibrate the MHW Controller (USB dongle) using a PC. MHW does not have Mac-based calibration software.
