heli-x and taranis not working

Post by xxflyer »

Hi,
I am trying to get a connection with heli-x sim and my frsky taranis.
But there is no controller recognized...
In windows my taranis is recognized as a game controller and all functions can be watched. All sticks work.
I am using heli-x 11, demo version.
thanks for help :)

... this should work. How do you see that the controller is not recognized?

I have the same problem see above thread. That is three of us. The original poster oultines it very well in the Frsky sim post " I am restarting my rc helicopter hobby after several years of pause. Before going into active flying outside I try first the simulation. There fore I bought an USB dongle from frsky because I fly also with a frsky X20 transmitter.

The dongle is recognized by windows 11 in the USB game controllers, and I see movements over there. When I startup Heli-X, my dongle is recognized, but within the calibration nothing happens. No channels are found in the configuration of the sticks.

Anyone has the same problem and has a solution for this?"

THe only thing i would add is that in the controller section of Helix, it appears that you can load the the frsky sim / controller as it says- "Frsky simulator -xml, contoller config files (*.xml) , Frsky simulator.xml or something similar

Again any help appreciated

Beginning to look like it doesnt work for Frsky radios - Ethos or open tx - yet another user here having the same problem. That's 4 of us and it appears no solution in sight - this person had their set up working on numerous other sims without problems but not Helix https://forum.heli-x.info/viewtopic.php?t=1886&start=10
