Hi,
I'm no Windows or computer geek.
I have Windows 7 and have both Heli-X and FlightSim 7.5. Neither seems to recognise the controller.
The controller is a Spektrum DX4e which was purchased recently from a model shop for use with sims.
All of this is new. I have never had the setup working before.
I don't recall getting any drivers for the controller either.
Can anyone help please?
Windows doesn't see the controller :(
Re: Windows doesn't see the controller :(
make sure you got the right USB adapter cable. The Phoenix especially does not work as it uses a proprietary dongle. Other cables come with a small switch for different simulators. Usually any cable suited for FMS will also work with Heli-X. Others may work too. The controller should be recognized simply as joystick device and can use the standard driver of windows (which should not be blocked from installing of course).
Modelling helis for Heli-X! See model build log here.
