stick sensitivity

Post by dronediva »

Hi!
Fist time using a sim. Flying the DJI Phantom and having a ball. Trying to do some balloon training but having some difficulties maneuvering the copter in tight quarters. It seems the right stick is WAY too sensitive compared to the left one and the least little movement sends it flying away. Using a Spektrum DX5e. Is there a setting to reduce the right stick sensitivity?
Thanks!

Did you do a calibration in the windows system settings and the in HELI-X?

Put on thsi stick display and check if the stick moevement displayed is like the real one.

If this is ok, you can use options-flightmode to ajust the settings.

Thank you for your reply, Michael. I will review the manual. Perhaps I missed something. I see the FLIGHT OPTIONS in the CONFIGURATIONS menu, not the OPTIONS menu. Once I found the FLIGHT OPTIONS, Im not sure how to adjust the cyclic nick and roll (which is how I have set the two right hand controls on my mode 2 controller) to make the sticks less sensitive. Which setting exactly would change the stick response?
So appreciate your help
