Version 5 not starting in Windows 8 64bit

I downloaded the Win 64 bit version. It first came up normal, asking for the country. Then the configure transmitter box comes up. Behind it is a window that says it cannot generate a window. Then it shuts down. On restart, it goes to the configure box again with the yellow "cannot generate a window" dialog box behind it. What next?

Update your driver of the graphics adapter from the vendor's web site.

I am using the program on a Mac with the Parallels Desktop interface. It worked using Windows 7 without problems.

I fixed it but not sure what helped. I installed RealFlight 7 and it installed DirectX 10. Then I reinstalled Parallels Tool. Now both programs work fine. Anyway, thanks for your help.
