Hi :)

A Happy New Year indeed! And a Happy New Year to you and the developers too, Michael.

The new graphics works great! However, I have a 'sticky' issue. I've noticed that my flying was not as smooth as it used to be,
so I fiddled around to figure out what was wrong, recalibrating my controls to make sure it's done right.

After a while I started to notice that there is a delay on the sticks. It doesn't happen in all the directions.

I've made a video[0] to capture both the transmitter and the heli-x sticks display. For comparison I've first captured v4's stick responses, and then v5's.
Just to make sure it's not the dual rate, I've switched that off when I tested in v5.

Edit:
Affected Controls: Rudder Left (Anti Clockwise), Negative Pitch, Cyclic Roll Right, Cyclic Positive Pitch (Nose Up).

Edit2:
Heli-X v5 Dist.: Linux .tar.gz package. (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS)

I downloaded Ver 5 but I do not see the DJI Phantom.

How do I get that model?

V5 on Dietersdorf Airport: ~170 - ~200 FPS.
V4 on Dietersdorf Airport: ~80 - ~110 FPS.

This is really strange. On other linux machines we do not see this.

Are you using java or openJDK? java could be better.

If you want to experiment, you can rake the jinput-jar file and so and put it into the V5 directory.

Hallo,

warum kann ich mein Heli -X Version 4.2.1254 nicht auf Version 5 updaten? Sobald ich auf Hilfe -> Update von Heli-X clicke, steht da nur: This version is up to date!

Ok, thanks, I will try the old libs. Switching back to Oracle Java did not change anything.

Edit: SOLVED! :D

I did as you suggested and replaced the jinput jar and .so files. Re-calibrated and I'm as happy as a clam at high tide!
