fright mode switch

Post by core »

...nice program btw.
The switch setup for the transmitter could alternatively be used to toggle between 2 states.
Like this: left switch = motor off, right switch = mode 1 or 2.

Funny enough, "FRIGHT MODE SW" is actally what is written in the JR Propo XG-6 manual, page 13. I could not resist either. (Much more of that fun stuff over at http://www.engrish.com.)

I found out that if I assigned the left transmitter switch to Idle Up 1 (start the engine) and the right toggle switch to Idle Up 2, the latter will start the engine too, when toggled, ignoring the "off" position for the Idle Up 1 switch.
This makes sense when using a keyboard, where the buttons are momentary, not permanetly toggling between two states, however, the trasmitter has toggle switches, not momentary buttons, so the logic is different.
