DX6i switch assignments

Post by chuck1073 »

I've got my DX6i working nicely with Heli-X on OSX Lion. Love the TDR!

The one thing that's got me stumped though is how to assign functions to the controllers switches. Right not I'm using keyboard commands for idle up 1 or 2, autorotation and the like.

I've poked around on line looking for something that might help me map this...no luck yet though.

Can anyone offer some tips?

Hi,

in order to make this work,

1. your interface has to be able to transmit more than 4 channels.
2. You have to assign to the switches on the transmitter channels. e.g. Flaps, landing gear and so on.

That much I already know. I guess my question, more specifically, is what switches on the DX6i correspond with the "button numbers" in the set-up dialog on Heli-X. Is it a case of trial and error....or has another user already figured out what number "button" the "f-mode" switch is and so on.
