Recording session

When you record a flight, the timer should be automatically displayed, otherwise you can know if you're recording ir not.
Also if I start recording and then start a training session, the recording is lost, I have to start recording again.

you can see in the status bar that the recording is on....

I know, but if you don't have the display bar active there is no way of knowing it.
You pre assume that the user has the status bar active, or that the user know that the recording info is displayed in that bar....to many assumptions.
I didn't even know there was a status bar. OTOH I would find more usable to auto display the status bar when starting a recording, or a counter on a corner of the window.
