MacBook Pro / OS 10.8.4 / USB Walkera UB-001

Hallo Heli-Freaks,

ich liebe Heli-X, habe jetzt aber mit meinem neueren MacBook Pro, OS 10.8.4 und dem USB-Connector Walkera UB-001 ein kleines Problem. Controller ist Walkera 2801 PRO.
Heli-X sagt nun: Kein Joystick verfügbar. Das liegt aber vermutlich am OS oder an den USB-Ports.
Wer kennt das Problem und hat es ggf. gelöst.

Passiert u.A. wenn man den UB-001 an einem USB-Hub betreibt. Getestet unter Windows und unter Linux (habe keinen Mac), in beiden Fällen gleiches Problem. Frag mich nicht warum, der UB-001 mag keine Hubs. Vielleicht liegt's daran? -> anderen Port testen...

Nö, kein Hub. Das ist der USB 3.0 Port bei Mac 10.8, der da nicht mitspielt bzw. nicht seriell liest.
Ich wollte nun sogar ausdrücklich einen alten USB 2.0 Hub besorgen und dazwischenstecken ...
Dann habe ich irgendwo noch ein ATMega-Board mit Schnittstelle zum testen ...

also, vergesst 'mal MacBook Pro und OS 10.8 - siehe folgender Snipped aus einem stackoverflow thread:

"To our surprise we got clients complaining that the USB hardware ID was not being read and shown completely. After testing extensively it turns out that ONLY the combination of Mac OS mountain Lion + Mac Book (Pro) does NOT detect the hardware ID."
Meine NIKON wird auch "nur noch" als iPhoto-AddOn erkannt, und nicht mehr als Laufwerk. So ein Quatsch. Die haben einen Vogel bei Apple Inc.

Ich nehme an, dass dieses Problem mit allen möglichen PPM2USB Adaptern besteht.

Unfortunately I do not speak or read German so I must ask this in english. I am using a mid-2012 MacBook Pro running OSX 10.8.4. I purchased one of your USB cables and have a Spektrum DX6 transmitter. I can configure the transmitter and it appears the Heli-X software recognizes it. But when you attempt to fly none of the controls are working. I am using v4.2.1254. DO you have any suggestions?

Greg, is the calibration working properly in Heli-X, showing signal read on all stick movements?

I was able to fix the problem by checking the invert box for the two buttons on fast idle. The program is working properly. I also had a registration issue that turned out to be my firewall. I'm enjoying the program. Hovering is very difficult. Hope I can master it soon.
