Heli-X 7 : Full screen not working
In windowed mode, only up to 1024x720 is available. OpenGL Fullscreen display mode show a list, including: 1680x1050 - 1bit 50Hz 1680x1050 - 1bit 51Hz ...and some lower resolutions. When selecting full screen, i get: Uncaught exception thrown in thread[jME3 main6, main] RuntimeExceptopn: Unable to f...

Re: Blade-Theorie
Nice videos - you really get to appreciate the amount of work you have put into the sim. Although I have studied and helicopter aerodynamics before, video no. 4 was quite advanced, and I will have to watch it again to fully understand. A challenge for you: It seems that it would only take a slight e...

Re: R/C-Helikopter. Aerodynamik - Technik - Simulation
Excellent videos! They are both good for general helicopter aerodynamics, and for appreciating the details of your simulation. It can be hard to tell where you have taken care to do it the right way or made some shortcuts, so your demonstrations of dynamics using heli-x are very fine. My german is q...

Remember view settings
It would be nice if all view settings were recalled from the previous flight session.
In particular, it is a pity that the setting View > Heli on screen > center / high / higher has to be set for every program start.

Re: Infos zur Version 4
Thank you very much for the V4.0 update. I wonder - with all the helicopter models available, it must be difficult to keep them all perfectly adapted to the changes/improvements in physics models in the new versions. Is there a model that you would recommend as a best example of the quality of the f...

Re: Autorotation
Trying autos on a 450-size belt heli has been my main cause of crashes this spring, with a less than 50% success rate. But it IS possible. However, probably not with the current Heli-X TRex-450 settings. Try to edit resources\models\helicopter\TRex450.xml and find the value "GearFrictionCoeffic...

Re: Illumination direction bug report
I just checked your update of Unterfladnitz and Dietersdorf with the AH-6, and that was a great improvement. But there also seems to be a problem with certain helicopters. The Xynergy is now illuminated from the wrong direction. Just to underline the importance if this visual effect, I am just back ...

Illumination direction bug report
Some helicopter bodies support directional illumination (AH-6, E-Maxx 500), while others don't (HELIX) and appear evenly illuminated from all directions. I hope the support is expanded to all models, but for those supported there is a problem: The brightest illuminated side and specular reflections ...
